As a child in South Korea, Dr. Moon watched his grandmother try to get rid of the “sugar bugs” in her mouth with pesticide. That memory still shapes how he practices: a lack of awareness about common dental problems remains a real concern today.

Dr. Yoodong Moon

DDS, General Dentist

Born in South Korea, Dr. Moon has lived in Australia, Japan and the United States. After dental school he practiced full time as a general dentist in Anchorage, Alaska, gaining experience in all fields of dentistry, before relocating his family to Illinois.

Patients know him for his friendliness, technical precision and gentle chairside manner, and for treating every patient with integrity and patience. Education sits at the center of his care: you'll understand your diagnosis before treatment begins.

Dr. Chris Villaflor

DDS, General Dentist

Born and raised in Chicagoland, Dr. Chris grew up in Glenview and attended Glenbrook South High School. He studied Chemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before pursuing dentistry at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove. After dental school, he worked in public health, caring for underrepresented minority and low-income patients throughout rural Illinois.

His goal is to treat every patient with compassion, respect and honesty, and to treat you like family, whether you're in for your six-month cleaning or haven't seen a dentist in years. He wants every visit to help you understand your dental health, and to raise awareness of how important excellent oral health is to your overall well-being.

In many cases, yes. Same-day CEREC crowns let us design and place your crown in a single visit. We'll tell you whether it's the right option for your tooth.

Yes, we accept walk-ins. We also offer same-day emergency appointments as scheduling permits.

Yes. We prioritize dental emergencies, from loose fillings or bridges to accidental injury to the teeth, with same-day appointments as scheduling permits. Call us right away at (815) 455-3368.

We're in-network with most major PPOs, including Delta Dental, MetLife, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Guardian and Aetna. We file claims for you, so you typically pay only your estimated deductible or co-pay at the visit. We also offer in-house payment plans and CareCredit. Call us to confirm your plan.
